What are SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?

They are email authentication standards that help receiving providers verify who sent a message and whether it is authorized to use the sending domain.

Does a successful send mean my email reached the inbox?

No. A mail server can accept a message and still place it in spam or another folder. Inbox placement testing helps reveal that difference.

What do I need to run an audit?

You need an Aimly account with access to Audit and a sending brand with valid SMTP settings. The current dashboard uses brands configured in the Aimly Email module.

How long does an audit take?

Audit time can vary because the system sends controlled test emails and waits for receiving mailboxes to process them. The report updates automatically while checks are running.

Can I run more than one audit?

Yes. Previous reports remain in the audit history. Only one audit can actively run for the same sending email address at a time.

Does Aimly change my DNS records?

No. Aimly Audit reads and validates authentication signals; it does not change the domain's DNS configuration.

Does Aimly guarantee inbox placement?

No deliverability tool can guarantee future inbox placement. Audit results are diagnostic signals captured at a point in time and may vary by provider, recipient, content, reputation, and later configuration changes.
